Because each of us has a unique mind-body type, we have different strengths and challenges when it comes to our yoga practice.

~ Find out how different postures affect you, depending on your Ayurvedic Constitution

~ Learn how to use mental concepts and physical modifications to maximize benefits (e.g. feeling grounded, clear, strong, joyful; increasing energy, ease and effortlessness) and reduce discomforts (e.g. anxiety, irritation, fatigue, strain)

*Includes both lecture and physical practice components; wear comfortable clothing appropriate for doing yoga postures

A Note for Yoga Teachers: Discover how Ayurvedic principles can help you better understand the psycho-physiology of your students, allowing you to be more adept and concise in supporting them. Angela has been studying Yoga for more than 20 years, Ayurveda for nearly 15 and has been teaching these "sister sciences" for nearly a decade. It is due to the wisdom of these practices that she is now living the life she has always wanted.

Life can be a profound act of devotion, but before we can serve others we must first nourish ourselves. 

It was this realization that attracted Angela to Yoga and Ayurveda and it is the foundation of her commitment to a life of learning and living well. A student of yoga and alternative therapies for more than 20 years, Angela has studied Yoga and Ayurveda in both North America and India. 

As an instructor, she creates an environment that fosters self-inquiry, assisting students in recognizing their unique strengths and challenges; using asana practice as a forum for ever-deepening self-awareness. With a focus on mindfulness, she encourages students to find tensegrity through the postures, appreciating yoga as an essential tool in reestablishing and maintaining mind-body balance. 

Angela attended Gujarat Ayurved University in India and has also studied Ayurveda with her cherished teacher ~ Dr. Vasant Lad ~ in both Pune, India and at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM. 

Angela teaches Yoga Alliance-approved Ayur-Yoga & Ayurveda Trainings (65-hour) as well as 200-hour Yoga Teacher Trainings all over the world. She offers public and private classes in Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa, Restorative, Prenatal and Ayur-Yoga at studios, community centres and schools in Vancouver. She shares her passion for Ayurveda with others through group workshops and one-on-one consultations, locally and globally.
